Children’s Personal Information Rules

Wahelp is a task-matching service for adults. Tasks involve visiting an address, carrying things and settling money in person, so we do not offer the service to anyone under 18 and do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. These rules expand the section on minors in our Privacy Policy.

1Wahelp is not for minors

You must be 18 or older to use Wahelp. This is stated in the Terms and reflected in the store age ratings (App Store 17+, Google Play 18 and over).
We build no features, content or screens aimed at children or minors.
We do no recommendation, push or marketing targeted at minors - there are no ads and no profiling in Wahelp at all.

2If a minor signs up anyway

Signing up needs only an e-mail address, so we cannot verify age at that moment. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18:

we suspend the account and stop collecting further personal information;
we take down the tasks and quotes posted from it;
we delete its profile, verification documents and payout account;
agreed deals and reviews are handled as described in Delete your account and data - kept, but detached from the person, because they are the other party’s record.

A minor can also delete the account directly, under "My - More settings - Delete account" in the app, without going through us.

3Rights of a parent or guardian

If you are a parent or guardian and find that a minor in your care is using Wahelp, write to support@wamate.net. Please include the sign-in e-mail address of the account so we can find it.

You may ask us to disclose the personal information we hold for that account;
You may ask us to correct or delete it;
You may ask us to suspend the account and stop collecting.

We act once we have verified your relationship to the minor, and write back with the outcome. Anything you send us for that verification is used only for it and deleted afterwards.
